FooD

My visit to Farmer Market was marvelous. I had lots of fun there with experiences. While walking around I want to capture some beautiful  snaps,which are as followed. I saw people buying groceries, fruits,plants and so on. Its quite a busy place,for me. Because if whenever I go to buy grocery I prefer night time or early morning,as its a bit quite that moment. The think which I felt is that the products they were selling were fresh in regards with other stores. When I came to New York my food habit gradually chanced. I felt to eat many vegetable which were my favorite .Reason, the vegetable here are as fresh as it is in other countries.But going to farmer market changed by point of view.Now I feel that I can have my favorite vegetable dishes being shopped from farmer's market.

I brought some fruits for my meal to make a dish of fruit salad. It was tasty so far I think and the snaps are as bellow ....

The thing which I have learned from my visit is that every store has it own quality of food they contains. To be healthy we must need to eat fresh foods although now days its becoming quite costly. The prices there quite varies. Some were cheap to buy in regards with other grocery stores and some where quite high to get with. As I love fruits so I decided to ended up with fruit salad. Because it was simple, took less time and was beneficial to my health as well.

                      My experience so far was awesome.I got such a nice class with a wonderful professor who have encouraged me through out this journey.First time I was too shaking and confused what to do.By with support and hard working now I have got organized.When it comes to select through out the block series to chose three best writings then it will be -(blog no.08,15 and 16)because I think I was more organized there.I was able to provide detail ideas to support my agreement to a side and make the reader more interesting. 


                    When it comes to my opinion regarding this class I will say I just loved it. It's one of my most interesting and challenging class.In my other class we can make a guess that what we will be facing forward,but this class we can't.To keep on writing makes life boring,but typing and getting response makes it more excited.I always read my fellow mates writings,because there I can feel that in comparer to them where am I,gaining knowledge.My impression is that my fellow mates are to much comparative and it tough to maintain with their writings.


                  To be honest,I have learned so much from this class.I have seen improvements in myself. Whenever I had problems,I got there solutions in class discussion.Every day I have spent in this class are memorable to me.The most interesting task was the blog entry where we have to expressed our ideas from the matrix, Truman,and the meatrix.I felt it challenging.Although everyone was expressing that reality was more than what we can imagine,but they were having some points differs from one another.I am definitely,leaving this class with all the basics understanding writing strategics ,I would be needing to put on in my ENG 101 class because I have gradually felt my writings to be more stronger,more vocabulary words used and so on.Will be recommending the students that they writings were nice, as well as their comments in my blog.Just be confident in yourself and try to acquire more knowledge as you can and have a bright future.

      Memo was one of the ordinary Mexican boy who was interested in technology. In order to explore and going deep inside the world of technology,when he created a big destruction for himself and his family he couldn't realized . One night, he overhears a transmission between Rudy , a drone gunship operator, and his compatriots. His signal is detected, and tracked down to his family's shack in Santa Ana. Live on TV the next day, Rudy carries out a mission to neutralize an "aqua-terrorist intercept".Mean while in the next morning Memo and his brother were watching a live telecast where they saw they house being ruined off.When Memo in order to support his family shifted him,He got some nodes in his body so that he can work in the sleep dealer. There he realized the truth that for American,Mexicans are just means as a worker to make their dream and determination come true. With his gradual experience Rudy realized his fault,that he was wrong and he killed an innocent person(memo's father). He later,decides to get back to Memo and to overcome his mistake which he did by breaking the wall of the dam so that the villagers can get enough water to serve themselves. In this,they were helped by Luz.The girl who fixed the nodes in memo's body and was having relation with him.But she did a mistake like Rudy.Without knowing it to Memo she was selling her memories with him.

1. So far I think the people are responsible for this. Because they are consuming/wasting more the resources they are actually worth off. Of course,the government and the corruption are benefited from it. Reasons are ,they don't need to pay much for reconstructing the particular area nor for habitats there to be removed The people will be suffering for it. As more the natural resources going out, the more carbon dioxide will be increasing and the amount of oxygen will be getting less in our environment. Natural resources are necessary and we should involve ourselves in protecting them from getting damage as much as possible. Because we aren't realizing the truth that as much as we waste resources the more we are calling death in front of us.

The Mexico ans american relationship is seemed to be quite friendly. The two countries share a maritime and land border in North America. Several treaties have been concluded between the two nations. The United States and Mexico have close economic ties. The US is Mexico's largest trading partner, accounting for close to half of all exports in 2008 and more than half of all imports in 2009. For the U.S., Mexico is the third largest trading partner after Canada and China as of June 2010. Set largely on the U.S.-Mexico border, Sleep Dealer depicts a world in which borders are closed but high-tech factories allow migrant workers to plug their bodies into the network to provide virtual labor to the North. The drama that unfolds in this dystopian setting delves deep into issues of immigration, labor, water rights, and the nature of sustainable development

                      From the point of view  the way through which all movies from The Allegory of the cave – the Meatrix are relates is to explore the  real truth hidden behind the curtains of this fake world. As being a member of living in the matrix , I have realized so many truths which I never thought before would exists. Truths those are heinous at some points. I something really ask myself that how could I have been blindfold such a long time.

                       The makers of the movie Meatrix used the film “The matrix” as their basics of arguments because in both the movies the same question arises that how the human beings are dominated by the food industries? Does the human eat and believe what the tags of the products say or want to go and see beyond those facts? The theme of the movie Matrix is that how the computer programming devices are using human as their source of energy and Meatrix is  how the food industries lie to the people about the meat production by displaying happy faces of the animals.IN both the movies humans are being cheated.

                Throughout my journey in the blog series I have faced many problems. Problems which were harder to overcome before but as clear as like a mirror. My blogs weren’t so well organized before. But now I can say that it’s better than previous. I was scared that my writings, fellow class mates can see it and comment on it. Now I am used to it. Before things are always difficult but with time things gets to be stable and habituates. That’s what my throughout experience says. The improvements which I think I need to acquire still are-to use more appropriate words in my writings, do attempt less grammatical mistakes, and to be more organized with more details and a stronger thesis statement.

              My response towards the last CAT essay which we did last week was good. Everyone expressed their varieties of ideas. So as I did. I think we write practice essays not to get good marks just to make ourselves more comfortable with the rules and our writings to be good enough to the readers.

In the article of “Let Them Eat Fat” by Greg Crister krispy kreme that serve it have been long the object of criticism by nutritionist and dietitians. McDonalds the most highly recommended fast food company is often observed to spread obesity through the foods they serve. Fast food companies in order to sell their commodities at a high range are targeting inner city communities. My statement is that, fast food companies should stop spreading fats which later causes obesity among the people.

Unites States, the country which is advanced in every sector, now days are behind in the rank of fitness. The reasons are nothing but obesity. The fats, which the people eat, but can’t burn them exactly. Recent survey have shown that the percentage of obese people have increased three times that in 1970’s. Reasons are that in today’s world fast food companies are increasing widely. Secondly, people rather than cooking at home prefer eating outside. Thirdly, cheap prices. Fourthly, toys for kids.

McDonald’s located in a lower middle income area of Pasadena, California serves supersizes bacchanal with high gear after 5pm. It’s the time when the workers get back from their work and search for a sit and take bites. Kids ordering chesses burger, small fries and a small coke will get said cheese burger plus a supersize coke and a super sized order of French fries. Orders are changing as well the amounts of consuming gears are increasing.

Eric Schlosser the writer of “Fast food Nation “have experimentally observed and proved that the junk foods contain a high amount of incendiary polemic substance which cause fire. “Not so happy meals “by editorial express that happy meals which the kids consume contain 640 calories in it. The chief executive of McDonalds said that “our target is to attract kids”. The most recognized documentary movie “Super Size Me” clearly shows that eating continuous fast food can highly damage your body. Additionally, McDonald’s fried and burger doesn’t get rotten up to 3 months. Proved through people observations. The fries don’t contain potatoes in it. They contains some ingredients, that makes them taste original and to stay longer.

Some parents have raised their voice against fast food companies. Like them, if everyone anticipates in their movement, fast food companies will be bounded to stop spreading fast and produce healthy food. American’s after all these prove should open their eyes and work against obesity.

Blog Entry 15 (Responding to the Matrix)

                          The movie meatrix is a short flash back of the industrial farming practice. In a dark satire of the meatrix  Leo, the pig approached by Moopheus an anthropomorphic bull. Leo lives on a pleasant family farm...or so he thinks. Moopheus shows him the ugly truth about agribusiness, and that he really lives in...The Meatrix. Moopheus offers Leo two pills. One red and one blue. One to stay in this world and to be fooled by, and other to explore the reality. Leo decides to take the red pill. After that, Moopheus shows Leo that the farm he has known is an illusion, and that he is really trapped in a horrific farm.  No matter where you fall on the topic of sustainable agriculture, to see “The Meatrix” is to love it

                        The movie "Meatrix"` gives us ideas about the food which we find in  low price in supermarkets are highly processed and contains numerous food additives. These are used in the foods to make it taste good and last longer. Industrial farms produces a larger scale of animal waste which is later released in greenhouse gas into the air and even in the lakes, oceans and ground water with bacteria, antibiotic residue, pesticides and chemical fertilizer. Small family farms have been replaced by huge livestock facilities, where animals suffer horribly, workers are mistreated, the environment is being destroyed, and where rural communities are falling apart. There is always a danger of being effected by mad cow disease. Over 150 people have died from this disease since the 1990’s                     

                       When Leo saw this horrible situation he couldn’t believe in these eyes for some seconds. He never realized that truth will be so cruel and nasty. He saw that animals are being farm in such a small place that they don’t have place to move around. Many dies, and from them other starts to get infected. For others not to get infected, they are feed by antibiotic tablets. The peaks of chickens are being cut off. They show animal a world of fantasy but behind hidden is the world of animal cruelty. They are kept survived as there are the means of foods for humans. They aren’t just affecting the animals but even the environment. When Leo realized this truth he started to work against this animal cruelty by joining Moopheus group.

                      Everything we see and believe isn’t the real truth. It’s just shown to us as a display. But inside it there is hidden the truth. This can be either nasty or clearer as the displayed world .But only some feels courage to explore. Leo and Neo did make their life meaning. If like them we even start to find our truth then after a time period this world will be changed. There won’t be anything fake.
